Last week, my daughter created a crossword using glossary words from her Human Biology lesson based on the book, “100 Things to Learn about the Human Body”. These lessons were compiled and created by Simply Homeschool.
The task was broken into steps. The first step was to use letter tiles to create the answers to the crossword, placing as many glossary words as possible into the arrangement.

The next step is to transfer the arrangement onto a grid.
After that step, number the first letters of each word according to when it appears first on the grid line-by-line.
Finally, arrange the glossary definitions as clues for across and down, corresponding the numbers to the words on the grid.
(will update this post to clean it up)
